A family in Islington, London is seeking an experienced Night Maternity Nurse to provide expert overnight care for their newborn during the early weeks after birth. The ideal candidate is calm, knowledgeable, and supportive, with extensive newborn experience and the ability to provide reassurance while helping the family settle into life with their baby. Responsibilities include providing attentive overnight newborn care, supporting the mother with breastfeeding, settling, feeding, and soothing the baby throughout the night, encouraging healthy sleep routines, and keeping the nursery clean, tidy, and well organized. The family is looking for a compassionate professional who can offer practical guidance while respecting their parenting preferences and creating a calm overnight environment. This is a temporary contract lasting 4 to 6 weeks, beginning at the end of September. The schedule is five nights per week from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. The family is offering £25+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
