A Greek-American family travelling to their residence in Corfu, Greece is seeking an experienced nanny to join their childcare team. The family has three young children, including 4-year-old twins and a 2-year-old, and already employs two nannies who will travel with them. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing nannies and hands-on parents, helping with all aspects of the children’s care and covering the other nannies’ days off.
The role will include all child-related duties, supporting the children’s daily routines, organising activities and outings, and providing attentive care throughout the day. Swimming with the children will be required, so the successful candidate must be confident and comfortable in the water. A private chef prepares most family meals, while separate household staff take care of cleaning and laundry, allowing the nannies to focus primarily on the children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and happy to work collaboratively with both the parents and the wider childcare team.
This is a temporary live-in position from 30th August to 30th September, with accommodation provided. The nanny will work 5 days per week, up to 10 hours per day. The family is open to covering flights for an overseas candidate, provided they are able to enter Greece without a visa. Salary is negotiable based on experience, and the successful candidate must be willing to work on a self-employed basis.
