A family in Fulham, SW6 is seeking an experienced and caring Afternoon Nanny to provide sole charge care for their two daughters, aged 2½ and 4½, from early September. The eldest will be starting full-time school, while the youngest attends nursery Monday through Friday until 2:00 PM. The role begins at 1:00 PM, allowing time to prepare healthy meals, complete nursery duties, and organize the children’s spaces before collecting the youngest from nursery and the eldest from school, both of which are within a 10-minute walk of the family home. The ideal candidate has strong experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children and enjoys creating a fun, structured, and nurturing environment through play, crafts, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate learning opportunities. Responsibilities include school and nursery pick-ups, preparing meals and snacks, supporting the children’s afternoon and evening routines, managing all nursery duties, and keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and organized. A confident driver is preferred, and the family can provide an automatic car for use while on duty. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with additional hours available during school holidays. The family is offering £22-£24 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
