A warm family in Potomac, MD is seeking a certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide expert overnight care for a newborn infant. The position is a temporary 8-week contract from the end of October through Christmas. The schedule includes five overnight shifts per week, with each shift lasting 10 hours. The ideal candidate will establish healthy sleep and feeding routines, prepare and offer bottles as needed, maintain accurate feeding, sleep, and care logs, and keep the nursery organized while assisting with other infant-related tasks. Candidates must hold a Newborn Care Specialist certification and have a strong understanding of newborn sleep, feeding, and early infant development. Previous professional newborn care experience is highly valued. The family is offering $35+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
