Tiburon, CA – Marin family is seeking a full-time nanny to support their 10-year-old child. They’re looking for someone calm, emotionally attuned, and confident in supporting children with ASD. The nanny will provide gentle support with homework, help reinforce habits that build independence and confidence, and encourage meaningful engagement away from screens. The family maintains a low-tech environment and places strong value on creativity, communication, and emotional development. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The earlier part of the day will focus on family assistant duties, including running errands, researching camps and after-school activities, and booking medical appointments for the child. Afternoons and evenings are centered around the child’s routine, including transportation to activities, structured downtime, dinner, and bedtime prep. This is a fully staffed household, so being a respectful, collaborative team player is essential. A college degree, valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a minimum of 5–8 years of full-time experience working with special needs children are required. A background in behavioral development or special education is a strong plus. Salary is $40–$50/hour DOE, with full medical benefits and paid time off.
