Denver, Colorado – Seeking a Governess Certified Teacher to work with a private family teaching the children in a private school house and managing the curriculum, the teaching and the school organization. Children are 5 and 10 and 1 preschool 2 years old.
Must be bilingual and able to teach in Spanish and English.
Creating a personalized curriculum and academic instruction. Instill strong values in the children such as respect, kindness, and self-discipline.
Able to incorporate a mix of traditional academic lessons and hands-on, experiential learning opportunities.
Prepare lunch for the school day and maintain a clean and well-organized environment.
Complete progress assessments and grades on a regular schedule.
Collaborate with the parents to ensure the best practices are being implemented.
Transportation of the children to outings and appointments. A car is provided.
Must be able to travel with the family as needed. Domestic travel and international travel.
Must be flexible with schedules.
Private teacher is a plus and working in a private family as a Governess is a plus.
