A family in Berkhamsted, UK is seeking an experienced and nurturing Nanny to care for their one-year-old and newborn in a loving, structured home environment with a focus on early childhood development and the Montessori approach. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Montessori principles and able to support age-appropriate learning through educational play, independence-building activities, and a calm, consistent daily routine tailored to both children’s developmental needs.
Responsibilities include all general nanny duties, planning and engaging in stimulating educational activities, supporting nap and feeding routines, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children. The role also involves nursery runs and local travel, so a driver with their own car is required, with mileage reimbursed. The nanny should be proactive, caring, highly organized, and confident managing the needs of both an infant and a toddler simultaneously while fostering a warm and structured environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Salary: £45,000 per year.
