Soon-to-be family of four in Hollywood Hills is seeking an enthusiastic and creative nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter after school. The family is excited to welcome their second child in December and is looking for a dedicated, long-term nanny to join their team.
This position is perfect for a young, energetic nanny who enjoys hands-on activities, park visits, and planning engaging outings. The nanny will focus on providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the family’s toddler and as needed, assist with light newborn support.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, engaging care for the 3-year-old, including school pick-up and planning creative activities and outings
Organize outings to parks, museums, and other child-friendly venues to encourage development and exploration
Prepare and assist with coming up with creative meal ideas for a picky toddler.
Perform light tidying related to the toddler, such as organizing play areas, cleaning up after snacks, and assisting with child laundry as needed
Maintain flexibility for occasional weekend hours, as agreed upon in advance
Encourage positive behaviors, social skills, and good manners.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with toddlers and infants, ideally with a focus on early childhood development
Comfortable around dogs.
Clean driving record and background check.
Willingness to commit to a long-term role with the family
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Valid passport and open to traveling with the family in the future.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2pm-7pm (25 hours per week guaranteed); flexibility for occasional weekends or additional hours.
Compensation: $35-$40 per hour
