A busy family in Libertyville, Illinois, with two working parents and two active children ages 9 and 8, is seeking a part time Nanny. Their household is dynamic and requires support to manage daily tasks and schedules. They are seeking a reliable and organized Nanny to help navigate their busy lives.

The Nanny will play a crucial role in supporting the family’s daily needs, including errands, household duties and child pick ups/drop offs. The ideal candidate is calm, patient, tech-savvy, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist with household tasks, including running errands, organizing schedules, laundry and meal prep.

– Provide support for children’s activities, including pick ups and drop-offs.

– Maintain a structured environment conducive to the needs of children with special requirements (e.g., ADHD and Dyslexia).

– Communicate effectively with both parents and children to ensure smooth operations.

– Manage any other tasks as needed to support the family’s overall functioning.

Requirements:

– Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Commute of 30 minutes or less preferred.

– Experience in a Nanny or similar role preferred.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.

– Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with busy schedules.

– Must be tech-savvy and comfortable using various digital tools for scheduling and communication.

Schedule:

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:00pm – 6:00pm with flexibility. Some remote, some onsight hours.

Hourly rate: $25.00 – $28.00/hour. 12 hours/week guaranteed. Paid through an online payroll service. Gas card provided.
