Loving and Engaging Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Alamo!
Location: Alamo, 94507
Compensation: $35-$38/hour commensurate with experience, paid holidays, vacation days, and sick days, and a family vehicle to use or mileage reimbursement at the IRS mileage rate
Schedule: 25 hours per week guaranteed – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

A wonderful Alamo family is seeking a hands-on, high-energy nanny/family assistant to join their loving household.
They have two children, ages 2 and 4 years old who attend half-day school. They are happy and healthy, and they play well together.
A deep love for dogs is important, as the family has a beloved older hypoallergenic dog.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for childcare and truly enjoys the preschool ages.
Someone with strong organizational skills a proactive nature would be appreciated.
They would love to work with someone caring, engaging, playful, and self-directed.
The ability to bend, kneel, and lift child as needed.
Duties:
School pick-up (close distance), engaging the children in play, preparing lunch and snacks for the children, going on walks and outings, and planning afternoon activities.
The family assistant duties will include running errands, grocery shopping, simple meal preparation, organizing the children’s rooms, clothes, and toys, loading/unloading the dishwasher, family laundry, light pet care, and light housekeeping (the family has a regular housekeeper).
Requirements:
At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for family or friends) with excellent references
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Can make at least a one-year commitment
Covid vaccinated and boosted (when eligible)
Legal work authorization in the U.S.
English fluency
