Bahrain – This family is looking for a private physiotherapist to work with their 3 year old daughter on a full time basis.
The little girl has microcephaly and mild Dandy-Walker syndrome, so they are looking for someone who can work with her team of doctors, and therapists including, occupational and speech and language therapists to provide a consistent approach to her care.
The little girl attends nursery 5 mornings per week and is in a great routine that helps her thrive. She is non-verbal and can’t walk, so will need some help with personal care as well as help maintaining her daily routine. The key for them is finding someone who can provide consistency to her day.
The family does travel, including to the US and would like you to accompany them on their trips. You must be able to travel to such locations without the need for a visa.
She has 2 older siblings, but they have their own nannies and are not your responsibility.
You’ll be required to work 5 days a week, Sunday-Thursday, with working hours to be discussed and in accordance with obtaining the best results for the little one.
The ideal person will hold a qualification in physiotherapy, as well as have some experience working as a nanny in a household at some point in their career.
Fluent spoken and written English is essential as you’ll be required to liaise with international doctors.
You will be provided with an apartment near to the family home.
The family is able to provide visas for physiotherapists only and is therefore unable to accommodate family members following.
Driver not essential, but a car/ driver can be provided for use.
