Houston family is searching for a FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT NANNY with experience supporting autistic children to care for their 7-year-old son. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of behavior, sensory processing, and developmental pacing. You will lead the day independently, providing structured care. You will help the child navigate big emotions, manage transitions, and work on key life skills. You’ll also support his independence in hygiene, routines, and academic tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement predictable daily routines and transitions
- Apply behavior support strategies during dysregulation or overwhelm
- Assist with independence-building tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and routines
- Prepare meals tailored to sensory preferences
- Support emotion regulation, anxiety management, and coping skills
- Transport the child to therapy, doctor appointments, and enrichment
Schedule: 40 to 50 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $25 to $28 per hour
