We are currently seeking an experienced and highly qualified nanny to join a afluent family in Paris. The nanny will primarily be responsible for the care and well-being of their baby girl- age 3months, with occasional travel involved. If you are a loving, nurturing individual with a background in baby care, nursing, or early childhood development, we would love to hear from you. The start date for this position is within two months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide loving and nurturing care to our baby, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness at all times.
- Create a stimulating and engaging environment through age-appropriate activities, playtime, and educational interactions.
- Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, sleeping, and playtime.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the baby, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain good personal hygiene practices, including changing diapers, dressing the baby, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Monitor and document the baby’s developmental milestones, behavior patterns, and any concerns or changes.
- Collaborate with the parents to implement and reinforce established discipline and behavior management strategies.
- Accompany the family on occasional travel, ensuring the baby’s comfort and well-being throughout the journey.
- Assist with packing and organizing the baby’s belongings for travel.
- Provide support and assistance to the family as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar role, with a strong background in baby care.
- Qualifications in baby care, nursing, early childhood development, or a related field are highly desirable.
- A genuine love and passion for working with babies, and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and travel arrangements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the parents and other household staff.
- Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French would be an advantage.
- Valid First Aid certification.
