A private family based in Zurich is seeking an experienced German-speaking ROTA nanny to care for their 2-year-old child within a fully staffed household environment. The family is looking for a professional, nurturing, and polished candidate with a background in Montessori or Early Years education and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development through play-based, child-led learning. This is an exceptional opportunity for a career nanny who values creating calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environments both at home and while traveling internationally with the family.
The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive daily care tailored to the child’s developmental stage, managing routines and schedules, planning enriching age-appropriate activities, and preparing balanced and nutritious meals for the child. The role also involves maintaining organized, child-safe spaces and collaborating closely with the parents, rota nanny, and wider household team to ensure consistency and high standards of care. Frequent international travel is a key part of the position, so the ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, discreet, and confident supporting a young child through travel transitions while maintaining routines and stability.
This role operates on a one-week or two-week rotation schedule, with separate accommodation provided while on duty. The family is seeking someone flexible, emotionally intuitive, and experienced working in formal private households who can seamlessly integrate into a shared-care environment while maintaining professionalism and warmth at all times.
