A warm and welcoming family in Winnetka, IL is seeking a part-time nanny to assist with the care of their toddler and newborn baby in a shared-care role alongside a stay-at-home mum. This temporary position, lasting up to one year, is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable hands-on childcare experience, build confidence in a private household setting, and earn a strong professional reference. The family is open to candidates who are new to nannying and do not expect extensive infant or toddler experience, but are looking for someone dependable, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in working with young children. Responsibilities include assisting with daily care and supervision, helping maintain routines, supporting with children’s laundry, keeping kids’ areas and equipment clean and organised, and providing light household support and errands as needed. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with some shifts from 7:00am to 1:00pm and others from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, communicated in advance. Infant CPR/CPR certification is required. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour depending on experience.
