A family in Wimbledon, London, is looking for an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby on a sole charge basis. The role focuses on providing attentive, consistent care throughout the day and supporting the baby as they grow and reach new milestones.
The nanny will take responsibility for all nursery duties, including following the baby’s daily routines, preparing feeds, sterilising bottles and feeding equipment, and keeping the nursery and baby’s spaces clean and organised. Feeding will follow the family’s routine, and the nanny will introduce weaning when the baby is ready and the family feels the time is right. The day will include plenty of age-appropriate activities and stimulation, such as tummy time, books, music, sensory play, and other activities that encourage the baby’s physical, social, and cognitive development. The nanny will pay close attention to the baby’s progress and provide suitable activities as new milestones are reached. Baby-related laundry is also part of the role, along with keeping the nursery, play areas, and baby equipment tidy.
The family is looking for someone confident with young babies who understands their changing needs and can provide a calm and nurturing environment while working independently.
The position is Monday to Friday for approximately 50 hours per week.
The salary is £55,000–£60,000 gross per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
A valid paediatric CPR certificate and an enhanced DBS check are essential for this role.
