Wilmette, IL – Family of four (two girls, ages 4 and 2) is seeking a dedicated, loving, and engaging nanny who will put the children’s well-being, growth, and happiness at the heart of everything they do. The ideal candidate will be a nurturing presence, a creative playmate, and a trusted partner to the parents in guiding the girls through their early years.
While the primary focus is childcare, the family welcomes candidates who are open to occasionally helping with light household or assistant-style tasks — though this is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for both children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and development
- Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities — indoors and outdoors — that encourage learning, creativity, and social skills
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children
- Assist with school drop-offs/pick-ups and transportation to activities as needed
- Support early learning through reading, crafts, games, and educational play
- Foster good manners, kindness, and independence in partnership with the parents
- Keep children’s areas tidy and organized
- Optional: Assist with light household tasks (e.g., children’s laundry, errands, or light tidying) if interested
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Pay is $25 – $35 an hour DOE
