A private family based in Westwood, California is seeking an experienced, reliable, and energetic full-time nanny to care for their two children, aged 6 and 4. Both parents work outside the home, so the role is fully sole charge and requires a nanny who is confident managing daily routines, school transitions, and busy after-school schedules.
Responsibilities include school pick-ups and drop-offs, transporting the children safely to extracurricular activities, sports, and appointments, planning engaging and age-appropriate educational activities, supporting learning, creativity, and positive daily routines, and ensuring a structured and nurturing environment. Additional duties include children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation, preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining tidy and organised playrooms, bedrooms, and toy storage, and assisting with child-related errands as needed. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and a confident driver with a safe driving record and a reliable vehicle for on-duty use (mileage reimbursement provided).
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with some light travel required up to twice per year (no more than two weeks at a time). Compensation is $35 per hour.
