We have the BEST new job for one VERY lucky LA-based nanny! These first-time parents with an adorable baby are seeking a kind, easygoing and flexible nanny to guide them through this exciting new chapter as a family of 3! They split their time between Los Angeles and Denver, so you should be comfortable working in both locations. You will have a private accommodations while touring and in Denver. Mom is a musician and will be touring in the upcoming months, which means you’ll be joining in on all of the travel and fun! A great attitude, go-with-the-flow mentality, and love for travel and babies is required. Must be comfortable on a tour bus, as well as flying internationally – passport is required!
The general schedule is 5 days a week, roughly 7am-7pm daily. As they navigate having a nanny the days and hours may shift, so flexibility is KEY! Rate is OPEN based on experience – they’re simply looking for the best fit! In the role, you will work alongside these hands on parents as a Mother’s/Father’s Helper – stepping in and out of a multitude of duties each day. Some days may be more child-focused, while others may entail organizational projects and errand running, or a combination of the two. Again, flexibility here is KEY, and they need someone who can go with the flow. You should be adept at establishing and maintaining routines, have a working knowledge of child development and working towards developmental milestones, and be excited to provide these lovely parents with support and guidance.
The ideal candidate is genuine, down to earth (no ego’s please!), warm, personable, innately helpful, comfortable assisting with meal prep and pet friendly with no allergies (cats/dogs)! You should have strong infant experience, a history of longevity in past positions, glowing references from former employers, and be looking for a long-term commitment, as they hope to find a nanny who will grow with them for years to come! Discretion and confidentiality are incredibly important – must be willing to sign NDAs. With touring comes party life, and MaryJane is a frequent attendee; while they don’t want their nanny smoking on the job please be comfortable around it (cigarettes too). Covid vaccine is not required for this position.
