We are seeking a Spanish-speaking nanny in the West Village, NYC to care for two children, ages 4 years and 9 months, with primary responsibility focused on the infant. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, experienced nanny to join a fully staffed household and support a busy, dynamic family with a strong emphasis on early childhood development, structure, and enrichment. The role requires a proactive, highly organized individual who is confident managing infant care while also engaging the older child when needed.
This position involves extensive travel, including stays in Upstate New York and Martha’s Vineyard, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work seamlessly within a team alongside household staff and a family office. Discretion, professionalism, and consistency are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing primary care for a 9-month-old infant, with support for the 4-year-old as needed
- Planning and organizing age-appropriate daily schedules, activities, and outings
- Arranging and attending playdates, music classes, swimming, and enrichment activities
- Supporting developmental milestones (child development background strongly preferred)
- Traveling extensively with the family (NYC, Upstate NY, Martha’s Vineyard, and beyond)
- Collaborating effectively with fully staffed household team and family office
- Maintaining organization of children’s spaces, belongings, schedules, and supplies
- Upholding strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
Schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The family offers $40/hour on the books.
