A super busy fun-filled household with parents very involved in the day-to-day needs of their 2 daughters who are curious, bright, active, interested, intelligent, caring and happy. Looking for an equally vibrant and aware Nanny/ Companion to monitor their day and continually challenge their learning and quest for knowledge with cultural events, interesting activities that challenge their intellect, athletically very engaged in the Arts and Sports.
The girls are equally as active in equestrian pursuits, volleyball, tap-dancing and basketball as they are in science, museums theater and the Arts in general. This is a tight family who welcome support staff into their home on the premise of organic trust and assurances in your sincere desire to make be a positive influence in their life – there is not room for anything but the best of the best and an earnest commitment to being a top-notch professional in your unwavering care.
The professional within this role will be called upon to be a mentor, provide wisdom. act out of kindness, be supportive and in essence a role-model at this very important time in the children’s lives. Interest in cooking and healthy habits, be as committed to upholding them in their pursuits as you are in being firm in your guidance.
The schedule will most often be Monday-Friday but based upon the rigorous demands upon the parents there may be times when you will be asked to stay over if they are traveling or are required to work beyond the timeframe of the standard day. The schedules are such that the parents are at the mercy of ultra-demanding requests upon their time and energy.
Looking for a NYC savvy professional who DRIVES and is aware of the many aspects of security and caution within the Manhattan setting. Requiring a full-charge professional who takes care of the shopping, light meal prep for the girls, laundry, organizing and keeping tidy all the aspects of their rooms along with the children’s input, of course, and being the right-arm companion to the family but focused upon the girls. This is a lovely post with a beautiful kind caring family tht enjoys having fun and making a difference.
