Private Family West Islip, NY is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and organized nanny to care for two children, aged 2 and 4. The ideal candidate will be experienced with young children, patient, and proactive. This is a split-shift position, with responsibilities in both the morning and afternoon.
Responsibilities
Morning Shift:
Arrive on time to assist with the morning routine.
Help children get dressed, fed, and prepared for school/daycare.
Ensure school bags, lunches, and other necessities are packed and ready.
Coordinate or assist with school drop-off if needed.
Afternoon Shift:
Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, cleaning up after meals/snacks).
Assist with school pickup (if needed).
Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities.
Provide snacks and support after-school routines (e.g., changing clothes, decompressing, etc.).
Occasionally assist with dinner prep for the children.
Schedule: 7AM – 9AM(1st shift), 3PM – 7PM (2nd shift) guaranteed 40hrs/week
Salary: $30/hr
