A family in Wellington is seeking a seasoned Newborn Care Specialist for a 4–6 month contract starting ASAP to provide expert overnight support for their newborn and guidance for new parents. The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn experience and be confident offering professional support with feeding (breast and/or bottle), burping, soothing techniques, establishing healthy sleep foundations, and following safe sleep practices. Responsibilities also include educating and empowering the mother with evidence-based newborn care knowledge, supporting the development of healthy newborn routines, monitoring the baby’s wellbeing overnight, and maintaining a calm and hygienic nursery environment. Schedule is 5 nights per week, 9:00pm–7:00am. Candidates must live locally and be able to commute, as no housing is provided.
