A family in Wellesley, Massachusetts is seeking a developmentally focused nanny to care for their two young children, ages 3 and 1. The eldest attends preschool, so the primary daytime focus will be on caring for the family’s infant son while also supporting the older child before and after school. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, ideal for a proactive and experienced caregiver who genuinely enjoys fostering early childhood development through thoughtful routines, engaging activities, and meaningful connection.
The nanny will be responsible for planning enriching, age-appropriate activities that encourage healthy social, emotional, and developmental growth. Daily responsibilities include coordinating outings such as playground visits and library trips, maintaining a structured and nurturing environment, and managing preschool drop-off and pick-up for the older child. The family is looking for someone organized and confident in managing the daily rhythm of the household while supporting developmental milestones through play, communication, and attentive care.
Additional duties include preparing healthy meals for the children, bottle cleaning and sanitation, children’s laundry, and light tidying and organization to help maintain a smooth-running home environment. A strong understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate engagement is essential, along with a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for on-the-job driving.
Compensation is $30–$35 per hour DOE.
