We are seeking an experienced Maternity Practitioner to provide professional newborn and postnatal support to first-time parents based in Grappenhall, near Warrington.
The family are looking for an individual with proven expertise in newborn care who can provide reassurance, structure, and guidance during the night, whilst allowing mum the opportunity to recover from a difficult birth. The baby is bottle-fed and doing really well.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide overnight newborn care, including bottle feeding, settling, and sleep support.
• Support and guide first-time parents with all aspects of early baby care.
• Monitor baby’s wellbeing throughout the night, ensuring a safe sleep environment.
• Offer reassurance and practical advice to parents during the postnatal recovery period.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of feeding equipment.
• Adhere to professional standards and confidentiality at all times.
Contract: Temporary, 5–6 weeks (with potential extension)
Hours: 9:00pm – 7:00am, 3- 4 nights per week initially (reducing to 2 nights as required)
