A French-speaking Nanny is sought by a family in Wapping, London to care for their 1-year-old child in a nurturing and structured home environment. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, working approximately 50 hours per week, ideal for an experienced nanny confident in infant care and early childhood development.
Childcare responsibilities include assisting with nappy changes, preparing bottles, maintaining the child’s hygiene through bathing routines, and ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and developmental progress at all times. The role also involves engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, outdoor outings such as park visits, and encouraging early literacy through reading books and language-rich interaction in French. A key focus will be establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development. Additional duties include keeping the child’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy. The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, and experienced in supporting early milestones.
The position offers £21 gross per hour.
