Wandsworth, London – We are looking for a fabulous Housekeeper/Nanny for a young family in London. This family of four have just moved back to the UK and are looking to hire a hardworking and professional Housekeeper to help maintain a high level of cleanliness in their newly renovated 6-bedroom home.
This role will mainly focus on housekeeping for now, but this may change in the next year. You will be responsible for the daily housekeeping duties including laundry and ironing, taking in deliveries, and putting away grocery orders. You will be running errands for the family including organising dry-cleaning, going to the post office, and doing school drop-offs and pick-ups.
You should also be confident in packing and unpacking for the principals when they travel as well as in general wardrobe management. You will be required to prepare simple meals for the two children and may be required to do a little bit of food prep for the family, this may include marinating meat or chopping vegetables so that it’s ready for when the principals come home.
You should be confident with childcare as you will also be required to care for the children who are between the ages of 4 and 6. The ideal candidate will be fun, energetic, and friendly as well as kind and caring. Experience in both housekeeping and childcare is highly desirable for this role as the client is looking to hire someone long-term. You should also be pet friendly.
Working Monday to Friday, typically from 10:30-18:30, however, flexibility will be required as you may need to do some babysitting in the evenings – working hours will be adjusted for that.
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 negotiable DOE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping and childcare experience
• Full, clean UK driving license
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking, flexible and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Excellent checkable references
