A family based in Wandsworth, London is seeking an experienced and caring full-time nanny to support the care of their 2-year-old child, with a new baby due soon. Initially, the mother will be on maternity leave, and the nanny’s primary responsibility will be providing sole-charge care for the toddler. Once maternity leave comes to an end, the role will transition into sole-charge care of both children. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive nanny who enjoys working with both toddlers and babies and is passionate about supporting children’s development through engaging, age-appropriate activities and consistent routines.
The role includes all nursery duties, preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, collecting the toddler from nursery three afternoons a week, organising stimulating indoor and outdoor activities, and maintaining a clean and organised environment for the children, including their bedrooms, playroom, and laundry. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, and confident managing the changing needs of a growing family.
This is a Monday to Friday position, working 45 hours per week: Monday to Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. The salary is £20–£23 gross per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements:
Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Current DBS check or police check.
Right to work in the UK.
