A family in Ventura, CA is seeking a dependable, engaging, and professional full-time nanny to care for their two young children, ages 2 and 4. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing nanny who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and preschool-aged children and brings creativity and structure to each day. The ideal candidate is punctual, reliable, proactive during nap times, and maintains a high level of professionalism in the home, including limited phone use during working hours.
Responsibilities include providing attentive supervision and ensuring the children’s safety at all times, planning engaging and developmentally appropriate activities, and supporting learning through play. The nanny will prepare children’s meals and snacks as needed (family meal preps in advance, so reheating is typically required), maintain established routines including naps and limited screen time (up to one hour per day), and handle light child-related housekeeping such as tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and dishes.
The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–4:00 PM, with 32 guaranteed hours per week. Compensation is $25 per hour.
