A work-from-home family on the Upper West Side is seeking a professional Montessori-minded nanny to care for their 1-year-old son. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with 40 hours guaranteed each week. The role is fully child-focused, centered on maintaining a safe, calm, and engaging environment that supports the child’s natural development and growing independence. Daily responsibilities include attentive care, supporting developmental progress through purposeful play, and planning age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and exploration. Light child-related tasks such as preparing simple, healthy meals, managing the child’s laundry, and keeping play areas organized are also part of the role. Occasional travel may be requested, so flexibility is appreciated.
