A busy professional family on the Upper West Side is seeking a seasoned, dependable nanny to care for their two children, ages 1 and 4. The family is looking for someone who is genuinely engaged with children, confident managing a busy day, and naturally focused on supporting early childhood development through play, structure, and everyday interaction. They would love to find a nanny who brings warmth, common sense, and a calm presence to the home while helping keep the children’s routines running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being actively involved in children’s growth and development. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and experienced supporting different developmental stages at once — from toddler milestones to preschool-aged learning and routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for two children ages 1 and 4
Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and independence
Support developmental milestones through play, conversation, and daily routines
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Assist with morning, nap, meal, bath, and bedtime routines
Manage the children’s laundry and help keep wardrobes organised
Maintain tidy, organised nursery spaces, bedrooms, and play areas
Coordinate outings, playdates, and indoor activities appropriate for each age group
Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for the children
Work closely with parents to maintain consistency in routines and childcare approach

Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm
Full-time position
Based on the Upper West Side, NYC
Compensation: $30–40/hour DOE (depending on experience)
