A family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and reliable live-in nanny to provide attentive, hands-on care for their 4-year-old son. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and engaging, with proven experience caring for preschool-aged children and supporting early childhood development.
Responsibilities include preparing the child for school each morning (dressing, breakfast, and ensuring school readiness), safely transporting him to and from school, accompanying him to extracurricular activities and playdates, planning and leading age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, preparing simple and nutritious meals and snacks, managing the child’s laundry, and maintaining tidy, well-organized bedrooms and play areas. The nanny will also travel with the family to their second home in Pennsylvania, providing consistent and structured care in both locations.
This position runs Wednesday through Monday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and compensation is $32–$35 per hour.
