A family based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny for their 1-year-old child, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility to travel and support the family during stays at their Hamptons residence throughout the year and summer months.
The ideal candidate will provide attentive, development-focused childcare while maintaining a structured and nurturing daily routine. Responsibilities include full-time care of the child, keeping their environment clean, tidy, and well organised, along with light housekeeping duties related to the child such as managing laundry, ironing, and meal preparation. The role also involves supporting the family while travelling as needed between Manhattan and the Hamptons, with accommodation provided when live-in support is required in the Hamptons and associated travel and overnight arrangements covered.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, and candidates must be confident swimmers due to proximity to water. The family is seeking a reliable, experienced nanny who is comfortable in a dynamic, travel-involved schedule.
This is a local-only position (no relocation candidates) and offers $35+ per hour depending on experience.
