A family in Tuxedo Park, New York is seeking an experienced and qualified Homeschool Teacher to lead the education of their 6-year-old son while supporting the overall development of both children, including his 2-year-old sister as she grows. This is a rare opportunity for an educator who is passionate about creating an inspiring learning environment and believes education extends far beyond the classroom. The family is looking for someone who can build a thoughtful, engaging curriculum that encourages academic achievement, creativity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning. They are seeking a long-term professional who is excited to grow with their family for years to come.

Your mornings will focus on structured, sit-down lessons across core academic subjects, while afternoons will be dedicated to experiential learning through outdoor exploration, creative projects, educational outings, and hands-on activities. Although the youngest child currently has her own nanny, she will gradually begin participating in selected lessons and activities as she develops. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator who enjoys taking initiative, planning an individualized educational program, and creating a nurturing environment that supports both academic success and positive character development. Flexibility to travel with the family is essential, as schedules may vary during travel periods.
