A family in Tribeca is seeking an experienced Russian-speaking nanny to care for their two children and provide consistent Russian language immersion within the home. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Russian and English, highly organized, and passionate about creating a nurturing and language-rich environment that supports the children’s academic, emotional, and social development. This role is best suited for a nanny who is proactive, engaging, and confident managing busy after-school routines while encouraging independence, structure, and positive manners.
Responsibilities include after-school care, homework support, coordinating schedules and activities, and planning engaging enrichment opportunities that encourage learning and curiosity. The nanny will also prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children before school pickups and drop-offs, with a focus on balanced nutrition and helping expand the daughter’s palate. Additional duties include assisting with baths, dinner, and bedtime routines, while helping maintain tidiness and organization in the children’s spaces and shared household areas alongside household staff. The family is looking for someone warm, polished, dependable, and genuinely invested in becoming a positive long-term presence in the children’s lives.
Requirements:
Fluent Russian speaker with strong English fluency
Previous experience caring for multiple children
Experience with language immersion and educational engagement
Comfortable assisting with homework and after-school routines
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
Professional, warm, and dependable
Comfortable collaborating with household staff
Experience supporting routines, manners, and independence
Strong references required
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 45–50 hours per week
Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
