We’re a warm, busy family based in beautiful Topanga Canyon, CA seeking a reliable, proactive nanny/family assistant to care for our two school-aged children. This is a long-term, weekday position (Monday–Friday, 12pm–8pm) ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with older kids and can confidently balance childcare with light household support. Our ideal candidate is organized, engaging, and brings a calm, consistent presence to the afternoon and evening routine.
Daily responsibilities include school pickups, safely driving the children to activities (mileage reimbursed), and planning fun, developmentally appropriate activities that keep them engaged and learning. You’ll help provide structure to their afternoons: supporting homework, preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks, and maintaining tidy, organized children’s spaces. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, anticipate needs, and contribute to a smooth-running household with light, child-related tasks.
A valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle are required for this role. We offer $35+ per hour, depending on experience.
