A family based in Tooting Bec is looking for a full-time nanny to care for their baby in a calm, nurturing, and development-focused environment. They are hoping to find someone warm, dependable, and genuinely passionate about working with infants, a nanny who understands how important the early years are and enjoys supporting a baby’s growth through attentive care, play, and everyday interaction. The family would love someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing all nursery-related duties independently.
The role will involve supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, sensory activities, reading, and gentle learning experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence as the baby grows. Alongside hands-on childcare, the nanny will manage nursery duties including baby laundry, bottle preparation and sterilisation, keeping the baby’s areas tidy and organised, and preparing meals for the child when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care for an infant
Support developmental milestones through play, stimulation, and learning activities
Plan age-appropriate activities including sensory play, reading, walks, and interactive playtime
Manage baby routines including feeding, naps, and changing
Prepare and sterilise bottles and feeding equipment
Handle baby laundry and nursery organisation
Keep nursery spaces, toys, and baby belongings tidy and well organised
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child as they begin weaning
Create a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for the baby
Work closely with parents to maintain routines and consistency
This is a Monday to Friday role working from 8:30am–6:30pm, and salary is £52,000 gross per annum.
