Travelling Nanny needed ASAP for lovely young, sociable couple with one boy aged 11 months. At the moment, the parents are currently based nr Tewkesbury in a fully staffed home . Mum is originally from Ukraine and Dad is British, although the role will encompass worldwide travel, sometimes for a month or two at a time (always to LOVELY locations) . The role would be best suited to a Live in candidate, purely because of the travel aspect and the flexibility needed for this, however typical hours can be set to suit the candidate when in the country ( Mon – Fri 8-6 or 9-5 if this were to suit). Weekends are occasionally needed but will be arranged in advance and can be worked as overtime or time off in the week can be given. A real ‘people person’ is needed , as when travelling the family are usually joined by friends and family and there is always lots of people around so someone who has ideally worked in this kind of environment before – who is happy to be socialising and chatting , but who also knows when to give the family space (although they seem very nice and relaxed) . Someone who also is happy and confident in their own company as when in the country, the base is quite rural – a driver would also be useful for this reason otherwise the Nanny may be a bit bored in the evenings! A car can be provided – there are also potentially drivers available when on duty.
Parents are very hands on and there is no overnight duty required at this time as Mum loves to do this. They are big fans of a child led approach so again someone who is quite open and laid back and does not have set in stone ideas – the parents do want someone who can guide them when it comes to child development but also who is happy to work out what personality the little man has and adapt activities accordingly!
Accommodation will vary depending on location but will always be own bedroom with ensuite as a minimum , sometimes own cottage.
Parents are open to talk about salary and it is negotiable for the right person depending on experience.
