Washington DC – A family based in Tenleytown is seeking a Spanish-speaking nanny to care for their baby on a full-time basis starting in September. Both parents work full-time, and they are hoping to find a nurturing, reliable, and experienced nanny who can naturally incorporate Spanish into daily routines, play, and communication to support early language exposure. The ideal candidate will be confident working with infants and passionate about creating a calm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
This role will focus on maintaining consistent infant routines, supporting sleep schedules, and ensuring the child is meeting key developmental milestones. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing bottles and baby meals, children’s laundry, bottle cleaning and sanitation, kitchen tidying, and light household organization related to the baby. The family is also looking for someone comfortable running occasional errands and who can take initiative in keeping the baby’s environment clean, organized, and well-structured throughout the day.
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
$75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience
Requirements:
Fluent or highly proficient Spanish speaker
Strong experience caring for infants
Knowledge of infant sleep routines and developmental milestones
Ability to naturally incorporate Spanish into daily care and play
Comfortable with bottle feeding, preparation, and sanitation
Experience managing baby-related household tasks
Reliable, organized, and proactive
Strong communication skills
Strong references required
