Work from home parents in Takoma Park, MD (Washington, DC area) are seeking a knowledgeable and attentive Nanny with a strong background in child development to help care for their baby. The ideal candidate is confident, highly attuned to infant cues, and well-versed in early developmental milestones, with the ability to thoughtfully track progress and adapt care as the baby grows. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing professional who can provide calm, responsive, and developmentally focused support alongside engaged parents.
Responsibilities include all baby-related duties, such as preparing, washing, and sterilizing bottles, maintaining consistent routines, and planning educational, age-appropriate activities and outings that support healthy development. The nanny will also drive the baby to and from classes and appointments, keep play areas tidy and organized, and assist with general household tidying to maintain an orderly environment.
This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Compensation is $30–$35 per hour depending on experience
