A family based in St John’s Wood is seeking an experienced Dutch-speaking nanny to care for their 1-year-old daughter. The family follows a gentle, baby-led parenting approach and is looking for a nanny who naturally aligns with these values and can provide calm, attentive, and developmentally focused care. One parent works from home, so the ideal candidate will be confident working independently while maintaining a collaborative and respectful dynamic within the household.
The role will involve planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, and taking the child to classes, parks, and outings on a daily basis. Responsibilities also include preparing healthy meals and snacks, maintaining established routines including naps and weaning, and later assisting with potty training. The nanny will oversee all child-related nursery duties and help keep the child’s spaces organized and tidy. The family is looking for someone nurturing, proactive, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development and language immersion in a loving home environment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: £22–£24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
