Family in St Albans with two boys are looking for a lovely Italian speaking Nanny Housekeeper to join them and support their household in all areas. Attractive hours and a collaborative type role for someone who has ideally worked in this type of position before.
General duties:
All childcare duties for the children
Housekeeping for 3 level home, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 1 study/office and 1 open plan kitchen/living room. Washing children’s clothes. Tidying up living room / kitchen area and children’s bedrooms (if necessary).
Cooking meals for children and family as well. Simple family meals, no dietary requirements.
Playing with the children, doing some fun/educational activities with them, taking them to local parks and playgroups.
The type of collaboration the Mum is looking for is she would like someone that can help with the children (nanny duties) both as a sole charge if needed or in collaboration with her. She would also like someone who can do housekeeping duties if she is doing some activities with the children. Therefore, some sole and shared charge combined, mainly housekeeping when the children are busy or sleeping or at nursery. Oldest child goes to nursery 3 hours a day (9am-12pm) Mon-Fri and youngest is at home full-time at the moment.
Help to get them ready (changed, bathed). Help with the bedtime routine in the evening.
Help them eat when necessary.
Family have a good routine in place for both boys so want someone who will be on board, work as part of the team and help continue this.
Candidate requirements:
Experienced Nanny Housekeeper, ideally worked with children the same age
Must be Italian speaking – this is a non-negotiable and must be fluent or ideally mother tongue
Happy to work alongside other staff, family have a cleaner that comes weekly.
Happy with sole and shared charge, Mum will be home and very hands on with the boys
A positive and lively person, good attitude and fun to be around and have in the house, parents have a very positive parenting approach so want someone on board with this. Want someone warm, affectionate and empathetic towards their children.
