Norland Nanny job in Southbank, London
A professional family based in Southbank, London is seeking an exceptional Norland Nanny to provide high-quality care for their newborn baby and their 3.5-year-old child, who attends school. This is a full-time, long-term position suited to a highly trained nanny with strong newborn experience and a confident, calm approach to managing multiple children.
The role focuses on full daytime care of the newborn, with shared care of the older child before and after school. The family also employs a maternity nurse, and the nanny will work collaboratively, including a structured daily handover at 7:00 pm. The family travels once or twice per year and requires a nanny who is flexible and happy to accompany them when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Newborn & Childcare Duties:
Full daytime care of the newborn, including feeds, naps, routines, and hygiene
Care of the older child before and after school hours
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines for both children
Supporting physical, emotional, and developmental milestones
Organising age-appropriate activities, play, and outdoor outings
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Monitoring wellbeing and development and providing daily updates to parents
Maternity & Newborn Support:
Supporting and reinforcing newborn routines established with the maternity nurse
Bottle preparation (if applicable)
Nappy changes and hygiene care
Settling the newborn for naps
Assisting parents with confidence around newborn care
School & Logistics:
Managing school drop-offs and pick-ups as required
Coordinating a smooth daily handover with the maternity nurse at 7:00 pm
Child-Related Housekeeping:
Children’s laundry
Keeping bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and organised
Cleaning bottles and child-related equipment
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
