Family in Boston’s South End is seeking a nurturing and experienced full-time nanny to care for their three young children, girl (7), boy (5), and a new baby boy arriving in January. The family is seeking a nanny who is active, attentive, and fun, with a calm but firm approach to guiding children. A great fit will be someone who is experienced with both older children and infants, values open communication, and thrives in a collaborative family environment. Someone who takes initiative and can truly be an extension of the parents will be deeply appreciated in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Attentive care for school-aged children and infant (starting January)
- School and activity pick-ups/drop-offs as needed
- Engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Encouraging independence and tidiness in children
- Meal prep for the children
- Light home tidying and organization
- Seasonal clothing inventory and rotation
- Washing and sanitizing bottles and baby items
- Putting away dishes and items used throughout the day
A family car is available for use on the job, and parking will be provided for a nanny who prefers to use her own car.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00/7:30 PM; Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (45 hours/week guaranteed)
Compensation: $30–$40/hour
