SOLVANG CA – Beautiful family in Solvang is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT for their three girls ages 8, 6, and 3 years old. The schedule is MONDAY-FRIDAY from 11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm. occasional weeknights or weekend help. Hourly rate is $25 plus gas reimburse (work related only), paid holidays, guaranteed 40 hours a week, and paid vacation. No pets in the home. Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
This is a terrific family to work for! So much fun and they truly value their Nanny as a team partner in the home. Both parents have busy careers, but the Mom is home to help out with the kids so you must be okay teaming with her throughout the day. The day usually starts out doing Family Assistant duties such as errands, kids laundry, tidying up the kitchen and living areas, changing the kids bed sheets weekly, creating healthy snacks/light meal prep, then on to the kids in the afternoon around 1pm/2pm when they get out of school. Nanny duties include teaming with the Mom to pick the kids up from school, take them to there after school activities, come home and unload backpacks, help Mom with the kids settle down and do homework, help clean up the kitchen, then bath/bedtime. Parents can be involved but also out of the home so it’s important you can help when needed. Mom is clean and organized, so someone who is tidy, takes initiative, communicates well, and has a can-do attitude will do well in this position. The family is looking for a long term fit. The job starts ASAP for the right person.
