A thoughtful and welcoming family in SoHo is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their baby in a calm, nurturing, and development-focused environment. The family would love to find someone who speaks French or feels comfortable naturally incorporating French language exposure into the child’s daily routines through conversation, songs, books, and play. They’re looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with infants and understands the importance of creating a stimulating but gentle environment during these early stages of development.
The role will focus on providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care throughout the day, including walks, tummy time, sensory play, reading, classes, and outings that encourage curiosity and learning. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, organised, and confident supporting developmental milestones while also helping keep child-related areas running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, hands-on care for an infant
Incorporate French language exposure naturally throughout the day
Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and interaction
Plan engaging activities including tummy time, sensory play, reading, walks, and classes
Take the child to library outings and other enriching experiences
Prepare meals and bottles for the child
Clean and sanitise bottles and feeding equipment
Handle children’s laundry and maintain organisation of baby items
Assist with light kitchen tidying and household organisation related to the child
Maintain a safe, calm, and nurturing environment at all times
This is a Monday through Friday position from 8:00am–5:00pm, offering $35–$50/hour depending on experience.
