A warm family in Soho, New York is looking for an experienced Nanny to care for their two children, aged 1 and 3. One parent primarily works from home and travels periodically, while the other travels frequently for work, so the family is looking for someone dependable who can take ownership of the children’s day-to-day care. This is a child-focused position centred around their development, learning, routines and overall wellbeing.
The nanny will plan creative, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, language development, early literacy, independence and kindness. Responsibilities also include preparing meals and snacks, organising the children’s spaces and schedules, managing their laundry and handling other tasks directly related to the children. Occasional travel with the family will be required.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm, followed by an earlier finish on Fridays. The family offers guaranteed hours at a rate of $38–$42 per hour, plus healthcare reimbursement, paid time off and other benefits.
