Skerries, County Dublin – A single mum who runs her own business is looking for an exceptional person to join their family and help raise the children. They live in a small coastal town with everything in walking distance. Mum is laid back and wants a nanny who will encourage the children to be independent, polite with good manners. Someone who is active and will embrace the outdoors, planning fun everyday activities that expose the children to everyday situations- she is happy for you to take the children on errands, play dates etc.
While this is a daily job the mum is happy to help find you accommodation and can offer accommodation on a temporary basis at her parents home which is close by while you look for your own place. Mum has a very good support system and wants the nanny to be rested and enjoy her time off, so will always try not to ask for proxy parenting or extra babysitting
Monday to Friday 7am-5pm
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom at the parents’ home close by if needed
General duties:
Sole charge care
School and nursery run
Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children
Organising the children’s toys, keeping the play areas tidy
Laundry for the children
Planning and organising age-appropriate games, activities and play dates
Teaching the children manners and encouraging independence
Running errands with the children
Booking appointments for the children managing their diary
Candidate requirements:
It is important that you are confident looking after two young children
Fluent English skills are a must to help with speech, reading and writing
A team player who will communicate with mum on what is best for the children – someone who believes in manners, structure and encouraging independence
Happy, upbeat, active and organised who loves the outdoors
Salary: up to 60,000 euros per year
