A family based in Shorewood, Minnesota is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to provide developmentally focused, sole-charge care for their 15-month-old child. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, attentive, and proactive nanny with a genuine passion for early childhood development and creating a nurturing environment where young children can flourish. The family is looking for someone who will plan engaging, age-appropriate activities, encourage curiosity through play, reading, sensory experiences, and outdoor adventures, while supporting the child’s physical, social, and emotional development.
The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the child’s daily routine, preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing the child’s laundry, and ensuring all child-related areas are clean, organised, and well maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and developmental milestones, along with the ability to create enriching experiences that support learning every day. Applicants should hold a college degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and possess current CPR and First Aid certification.
The position is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and offers $32 per hour.
