A warm, high-profile family in Sherman Oaks, CA is seeking an experienced RIE-informed nanny to care for their three children, ages 5, 3, and 2. This is a full-time, long-term position for a nanny who is deeply aligned with the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) philosophy and who genuinely enjoys fostering independence, setting gentle and consistent boundaries, and building meaningful, respectful relationships with children.
Both parents work in and out of the home, and the position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care rooted in the RIE philosophy
Foster independence, confidence, and emotional regulation through respectful caregiving
Set and maintain gentle, consistent boundaries
Prepare healthy, organic meals and snacks for the children
Tidy and maintain children’s sleep and play areas
Manage and maintain children’s laundry
Support age-appropriate routines while respecting each child’s individuality
Build strong, trusting relationships with the children and parents
Ideal Candidate
Strong understanding of and experience with RIE or respectful parenting philosophies
Calm, patient, and confident caregiver who values child-led learning
Professional, discreet, and comfortable working in a high-profile home
Excellent communicator with strong emotional intelligence
Reliable driver with a clean driving record

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation
$40–$45 per hour, DOE
